Professional Maintenance for Your MARSANT Gas Lawn Mower
To maintain the high-torque performance of your SOLIDER or RANGER series gas mower, consistent technical care is required. These machines are engineered for professional-grade results, but their longevity depends on proper engine and deck management.

Engine Oil Management: The 5-Hour Rule
New gas engines require a critical "break-in" period to ensure internal components seat correctly.

  • The Initial Change: Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation. This removes microscopic metal particulates produced during the initial run.
  • Seasonal Schedule: Following the break-in, change the oil every 50 hours or once per season.
  • Technical Specification: Use SAE 30 or 10W-30 high-quality engine oil. Always check the dipstick before starting to ensure the level is between the designated markers.

Fuel System Integrity and Carburetor Care
Stale fuel is the leading cause of starting issues in gas mowers.

  • 30-Day Freshness: Only use unleaded gasoline (87 octane or higher) that is less than 30 days old.
  • The Ethanol Limit: Ensure your fuel contains no more than 10% ethanol (E10). Higher ethanol content attracts moisture, which leads to internal corrosion of the carburetor.
  • Off-Season Storage: Before winter, either run the engine until the tank is empty or add a fuel stabilizer to protect the fuel lines and seals.

Optimizing the Cutting Deck for High-Vacuum Performance
The SOLIDER series relies on airflow to achieve a clean cut.

  • Blade Sharpening: A dull blade tears the grass rather than cutting it. Inspect your blade every 25 hours for nicks or rounding.
  • Underside Cleaning: Built-up grass clippings disrupt the high-vacuum suction. Scrape the deck clean after each use to maintain maximum lift and discharge efficiency.
